Vonnegut's style- Chris Wood

I think it is very interesting how Kurt explains everything and how he writes the book. When he try's to explain something he writes it like he's actually talking to you. I wonder if he will keep this up throughout the book.

  1. I agree! I get very confused sometimes while reading, if it is suppose to be Billy talking or Vonnegut. However, Vonnegut's way of writing that makes the book seem so personal is very interesting. What I thought would be really cool is if Vonnegut somehow made Billy meet him. Billy and Vonnegut could talk to each other about the war, since they are so similar.
Do you think there is a reason that Vonnegut chooses to make Billy and himself so alike? Or do you think it is just because this book is somewhat based of Vonnegut's time in the war?
